hai everyone !! it's me, the webmaster of valentines-archive.neocities.org ! here is an introduction to me, there's probably more information on this page than i should be putting out onto the internet but that's neither here nor there.

  1. what's your name? how old are you? how would you describe yourself?

  2. what was your upbringing like?

    3. as any other i suppose, nothing particularly interesting happened to me growing up. i grew up middle class and have one sibling who is 7 years older than me, and we are very close.

  3. what are your hobbies? how do you like to spend your free time?

    4. i talk about this more above, but many of my hobbies besides coding are all art forms in some way, including sewing, drawing, bass, etc. besides that i also watch a lot of shows and movies, and play video games from time to time. it never feels like i have enough spare time to fully enjoy all of my hobbies.

  4. what kind of music do you like?

    5. i mostly listen to alternative music, mainly goth. within that, i mainly listen to post punk (joy division, siouxsie, bauhaus), ethereal wave (love spirals downwards, cocteau twins, this ascension), and a bit of industrial (kmfdm, miss construction, nine inch nails). i also listen to shoegaze (my bloody valentine, ringo deathstarr, slowdive) and a little punk/riot (cheap perfume, dazey and the scouts, le tigre). i also endulge in a couple random unrelated bands/artists including ayesha erotica, millionaires, big thief, grimes, alex g, tv girl, akira yamaoka, etc. i don't really like to branch out in my taste but i'm not too picky when i do.

  5. favorite movies/tv shows?

    6. my favourite tv show of all time is agents of s.h.i.e.l.d (check out the shrine). my favourite movies include juno, i saw the tv glow, stand by me, and many more but i have letterboxd for a reason.

  6. do you like any video games?

    7. i don't play too many video games cause i'm pretty bad at them, but i do like alice: madness returns, stardew valley, five nights at freddy's, plants vs zombies, etc.

  7. favorite literature? this could be a novel, a book series, a comic, etc.

    8. i'm not too big on reading to be honest. it could probably be the jojo's bizarre adventure manga, although i have technically not finished it since i'm only at part 6. i do quite like classic gothic literature like dracula and frankenstein too. i haven't gotten around to reading all tommorrows or i have no mouth and i must scream but from the many videos i've seen on them they would also be up there.

  8. how has art affected your life?

    9. every possible way i think. all my favourite hobbies involve art in some way, sewing, coding, playing video games, etc. i consume and create art on the daily.

  9. what are your hopes for the future of humanity?

    10. i think we should all peacefully die off in some way. like everyone just stops reproducing or we get nuked and all die in nanoseconds.

  10. any hopes or aspirations for your own future?

    11. unfortunately i'm one of those people who want to do everything ever. i want to become a fashion designer, chemist, linguist, film maker, mathematician, the list goes on. one of my dream jobs doesn't even exist anymore too (scientist working at bell labs). hopefully though, i will get a fashion design and maybe chemistry degree.

  11. if sentient extraterrestrial life were to exist, what would you want to tell them about humanity?

    12. i'd probably tell them to come back later. perhaps in a hundred years we won't have progressed fully into fascism, though that seems optimistic.

  12. do you currently have / have you had any pets or livestock?

    13. when i was 3 years old i had 2 chickens. earlier this year i fostered a tuxedo cat, her name is sparkles and she was 1 year old when i fostered her, and she has now been adopted by a loving family.

  13. how do you hope people remember you?

    14. perhaps strange or esoteric.

  14. do you have any advice for younger people?

    15. i think i'm too young to answer this. who would i be giving advice to? 5 year olds? my advice for 5 year olds is to become an evil menace to your peers. there is a small window of opportunity you have in primary school to terrorise your classmates without any consequences.

  15. are you religious?

    16. i like to say i'm agnostic, but in actuality i'm an atheist. i would not like to believe that i have lived and will live my whole life to find out in death that it was all just a test to see if i deserved a perfect eternity.

  16. what do you think the meaning of life is?

    17. mathematics.

  17. do you have any fears?

    18. needles and heights. also throwing up, i can be highly emetophobic. also the passage of time to throw a nebulous one in the mix.

  18. what makes you happy?

    19. money or material possessions. also when you're doing a bit with your friend and you laugh so hard your stomach hurts.

  19. what kind of food do you like to eat?

    20. all of it. i'm simultaneously picky and not picky. i actually used to be less picky as a small child but i grew into being able to voice my true opinions on white fish and the like.

  20. do you have a favorite animal?

    21. i have 3. cats, ladybugs, and crows, in no particular order. something i'd like to do within the next few years is to start bringing peanuts everywhere i go so that i can feed and befriend crows whenever i see them. i never remember to buy peanuts though, so it may not come to fruition before i move out or become an adult.

  21. do you have a favorite color?

    22. many favourites. historically it's been pink, though you definitely could not tell from looking at me. purple and red are my working favourites, since i like to wear them the most, and also black just to have a neutral one.

  22. what do you wish you had known earlier?

    23. don't get hung up on people who wouldn't care if you lived or died !!
