my first exposure to video games was as a 7(ish) year old, from my older sibling playing the ps2 we own (which i shall someday get a controller for and boot up again). from my recollection we had 3 games: sonic generations, sonic unleashed, and madagascar for whatever reason. i really wanna play sonic unleashed again to see if i'd be any better now but i probably wouldn't be.. i was never really competent at any of these games, and i didn't end up getting into video games, ever really.
since then, i've made something of a conscious effort to play more video games, but unfortunately my lack of childhood experience has led to my current teenage self being exceedingly bad at basically every game. i'm kind of forced to play everything on easy mode since normal would probably force me to replay certain parts so many times i'd give up. i also never really finish games for some reason, i'm truly not consistent like that. much of my video game consumption comes more from mass watching videos on youtube about them, which just works well in tandem with my inability to play games and having more of an interest in story/lore than gameplay.
i also don't play many video games cause i am broke AS FUCK !! i pirate any games that cost more than a cent, but unfortunately this means i can only ever play games that have been developed by big companies, since i'm obviously not gonna pirate indie games. also some of the games i wanna play are genuinely just too big and i don't have storage for em.. lookin at you CoD MW2..

stardew valley is the first video game i've played since i was a wee lad. i think i first began playing in 2022, and i was absolutely obsessed with it (if you couldn't tell by my hours).
i used to play it a lot in class, and me and a friend used to make a habit about meeting up every saturday and just playing stardew together. not a joint save or anything we would just sit in a park and watch each other play mobile, which is still where i play it the most. i can't leave the save button behind for pc. how i haven't yet reached perfection is somewhat beyond me but since starting i have become increasingly busy, and the more i play the less i care about perfection and more about just decorating my farm tbh. i roommate with krobus on every save, and i refuse to play the joja route, i would even stop buying from pierre if i could tbh. i'm pretty good at junimo cart but i don't think i could ever reach the second level of journey of the prairie king, it is actually impossible to me. it kind of bothers me that i could never get all the achievements on steam if i ever attempted it. i spend a lot of my time playing stardew decorating, and somehow i'm bad?? at combat?? i have never gotten to floor 100 of the skull caverns without an unreasonable amount of ladders.

completion: n/a, played all the minigames, boat mode (??), and board game styles though
i don't actually own this game or a nintendo switch. however, me and that same friend i mentioned from stardew valley play it every holidays on her switch. i always play as goomba and her as boo, not really sure why, i'm actually impartial to goomba to be honest. for whatever reason, we always play with the cpus being waluigi and yoshi. we both like waluigi but despise yoshi and constantly comment on how his shell looks like a huge red pimple on his back. i do wish that the cpus were harder, not master difficulty mario jamboree hard, but it is very easy.
some of my favourite minigames include sizzling stakes (flip a pan with the controller in real life to cook all sides of a meat cube), candy shakedown (shake the controller to get assorted candies out of a jar), nut cases (vibrations on the controller indicate how many nuts are in a box), and tall order. now. tall order used to be one of our worst games. we couldn't get over like 14m when we knew a change had to take place, so we began working on reaching the world record for tall order. currently we are at 15th place. check out the leaderboard here (she's the one with the boo/goomba lovechild pfp).

this is, i believe, my favourite fnaf game. i first got into five nights at freddy's after a friend of mine told me to watch gigi's horror homestead's 8 hour long fnaf video, which i did as a joke. i did not get the last laugh unfortunately cause this video got me obsessed with the franchise for months to come. since then, gibi has become my favourite fnaf-tuber. after getting into the series, me and this friend ended up playing through most of the fnaf games together, and after endless grinding i beat 4/20 mode. i played this game a lot during class, mainly commerce (somehow my teacher never caught me despite the fact that i was almost flinching at jumpscares). i think this is one of the best entries in the whole fnaf series. the mystery and office design and style of horror peaked here i love it.
once i get around to it, i'm probably going to make a fnaf shrine..
